The Masterclasses at Slow Wine Fair 2024 are guided tastings for enthusiasts and industry professionals to explore the Italian and international wine landscape. The Masterclasses provide participants with a wide panorama of Italian and foreign wines, highlighting how each of them depends on fertile soil.

Among the themes we’ll explore are:

  • Whole bunch winemaking
  • The principles of biodynamics (with a look at the scene worldwide, and a particular focus on the Palatinate region in Germany)
  • The diversity of Italian grape varieties, of which more than 600 have been identified
  • The biodiversity of Emilia-Romagna

You need a general access ticket to Slow Wine Fair in order to be able to take part in the Masterclasses, tickets for which are sold separately. Masterclass tickets can be bought online until February 24; during the days of the event any remaining tickets can be bought at the Event Reception. If you’re a wine enthusiast and you want to take part in a Masterclass on February 26 or 27, days which are reserved for industry professionals, write to
