ACCESSING THE EVENT

Is the Super Green Pass necessary to access the event?

Yes. From January 10, 2022, and until the end of the emergency period, all those intending to access the event must show their “Super” Green Pass (which is proof of vaccination against or recovery from Covid-19), as required by Italian Law n. 299 of December 30, 2021. Access with the “Super” Green Pass, in line with AEFI (Association for Italian Fairs), is required for everyone who wants to access the event (visitors, exhibitors, press, supplier, staff, etc.) BolognaFiere organizes Green Pass checks at all entrances to the event. If you fail to provide a valid Green Pass you will not be allowed to enter.

What other rules are there for accessing BolognaFiere?

Visitors
Only visitors with a valid entrance ticket for that day will be allowed to enter. Visitors will undergo temperature checks: only visitors with a temperature of less than 37.5°C will be allowed to enter. In order to acess BolognaFiere you must have booked in advance for the event in question. Visitor data will be held for 14 days and made available to local health authorities if requested.

Exhibitors
Exhibitors will undergo temperature checks: only exhibitors with a temperature of less than 37.5°C will be allowed to enter.

During the opening hours of the event: Exhibitors and staff must be correctly registered according to the systems in place for each specific event. No badges or accreditation will be granted without the inclusion of the name. Exhibitor and staff data will be held for 14 days and made available to local health authorities if requested.

During set-up and dismantling of the event: Only authorized and correctly-registered staff may access the event area. Staff data will be held for 14 days and made available to local health authorities if requested. This applies also to external suppliers.

Minors

Persons under the age of 18 are not allowed to enter Sana Slow Wine Fair.

Can you do a rapid antigen-test for Covid-19 around the BolognaFiere area?

Yes. There are several pharmacies in the area. A complete list is available here.

How will access for foreign visitors and exhibitors be regulated?

Visitors and exhibitors who are European Union nationals, like Italian nationals, must present a “Super” Green Pass. For more information check the European Commission website. Non-European Union nationals must present an equivalent to the “Super” Green Pass from a healthy authority recognized by the EMA (European Medicines Agency).

Will there staff at BolognaFiere to prevent large gatherings?

Yes, there will be staff at BolognaFiere whose job is to prevent large gatherings in common spaces. At individual stands it will be the responsibility of the exhibitor to check that anti-Covid protection measures are respected.

Must masks be worn within the exhibition area?

Yes, in all exhibition areas the general health rules are applied, meaning social distancing and the use of FFP2 masks both for exhibitors and visitors.

N.B. The requirement to wear a mask is valid even for those who are fully vaccinated. Exemptions from mask use may only be granted in specific circumstances, e.g. for speakers on stage.

TICKET OFFICE

Do you need to book in advance to visit Sana Slow Wine Fair?

You must buy a ticket in advance – tickets are issued with the name of the visitor. The pavilions of the Fair have limited capacity, so buying a ticket in advance is advised.

Can I buy a ticket in Bologna?

The ticket office is exclusively online, but will still be active during the days of the event.

I’m a wine industry professional: when can I come to Sana Slow Wine Fair?

Industry professionals are welcome on Sunday, March 27 from 12 to 7 p.m., on Monday, March 28 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Tuesday, March 29 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. More info here.

I’m a wine enthusiast: when can I come to Sana Slow Wine Fair?

Wine enthusiasts may come to the event on Sunday, March 27 fom 12 to 7 p.m. If you want to participate in one of the Masterclasses held on Monday or Tuesday, you may, though you will also need a valid entrance ticket for the Fair itself. Tickets for Sunday, March 27 cost €59 or €49 for Slow Food members, FISAR members and students of the University of Gastronomic Sciences. For more info regarding access to Masterclasses and the Fair on Monday and Tuesday, March 28 and 29, please write to info.eventi@slowfood.it

What discounts are there for Slow Food members?

Slow Food members, like FISAR members and students of the University of Gastronomic Sciences have a €10 discount on tickets for Sunday, March 27 from 12 to 7 p.m. More info here.

I already have a ticket for Slow Wine Fair with the old dates; will you send me a new ticket?

The online ticket office, Vivaticket, will send a new ticket to all those who bought a ticket when the dates were February 27 – March 1. A ticket for Sunday February 27 will be replaced with a ticket for Sunday, March 27, and so on.

I bought a ticket for the Fair with old dates and can’t come now that the dates have changed: can I have a refund?

Anyone who can no longer come to the event because of the date change is entitled to a refund, as long as refund requests are made before the original dates of the event (i.e. before February 27- March 1).

What are the event areas?

The event takes place in Pavilions 15 and 20 of BolognaFiere.

May the wines on display be tasted?

Yes, wines on display may be tasted.

May wines on display be bought?

The wines on display at Sana Slow Wine Fair are not for sale in the event space. The wineries may only bring a predefined and limited number of bottles.

Are dogs allowed?

Entrance for dogs is allowed if they are kept on a leash with a muzzle, with an exemption for service dogs for the blind who may access the Fair without restrictions.

I have a ticket for Sana Slow Wine Fair: do I need to buy another to take part in a Masterclass?

Yes. The entrance ticket for Sana Slow Wine Fair does not include participation in the Masterclasses, but only grants access to the main exhibition space. The Masterclasses each have individual tickets.

I have a ticket for a Masterclass, do I need to buy a ticket for Sana Slow Wine Fair?

Yes. A Masterclass ticket does not grant access to the main exhibition space. Buy your general access tickets here.

How can I participate in online conferences?

The online conferences of Slow Wine Fair are open to all and will be held from March 22-24, the week before the main event. To participate with live translation you must register to receive a link. The conferences will also be visible directly on the website without registration, but without translation.

I’m a wine enthusiast and I’d like to take part in a Masterclass on Monday/Tuesday, can I?

If you want to take part in a Masterclass on Monday or Tuesday, March 28 or 29, you can, entering Sana Slow Wine Fair with a general access ticket. Write to info.eventi@slowfood.it for more information.

I have a ticket for Sunday, March 27: can I take part in the plenary assembly?

To participate in the plenary assembly you must have signed up to be part of the Slow Wine Coalition and have been selected as a delegate. The acts of the plenary session will be made publicly available afterwards.

Where can I park?

Bologna & Fiera Parking manages various parking areas around the Fiera District. In the more distant parking areas there is a free shuttle service to bring visitors to the Fiera.
